In the first edition of Human Touch, we shared how furniture can go beyond the limits of a standard catalogue. Today we’d like to take you one step further – not into what we create, but how we create it.
For us, going beyond the catalogue doesn’t mean working like a traditional artisan workshop. It means something far more challenging: industrialising bespoke solutions. It means combining the flexibility of our manufacturing process, the engineering expertise of our design team and the knowledge of materials that only years of experience can provide, all in the service of a single vision.
Here are three projects where this vision became reality.
01. KYO COLLECTION: THE EVOLUTION INTO A SOCIAL TABLE
There’s a collection you already know well: the 70 mm thick top and the extra-clear glass side supports that make the table appear to float effortlessly in space. That’s the essence of Kyo.
This time, we didn’t redesign it. We simply allowed it to grow to a height of 950 mm, and with that subtle transformation, the executive desk became a Social Table, designed for today’s workplaces where collaborative spaces and informal meetings have become more important than fixed workstations.
Then came the colour. A bespoke Ferrari Red lacquer finish, chosen by the architect not as decoration, but to convey energy and transform the table into the emotional, before even the visual, focal point of the surrounding space.

02. SHELTER RECEPTION: THE PURITY OF TOTAL WHITE
A reception area leaves no room for compromise. It is the first handshake a company offers, and it has to be flawless.
In this version of Shelter, 4520 mm in length becomes a single straight, monolithic white volume. From the outside, absolute purity. Inside, a level of complexity that most people will never notice and that’s precisely where the true signature of the project lies.
The glossy lacquered front and side panels meet the upper shelves through perfectly executed 45° mitred joints, leaving no room for imperfections. Achieving this level of precision requires exceptionally tight manufacturing tolerances.
Then there is the dialogue between surfaces: the mirror-like reflection of the glossy vertical panels meets the soft-touch white no-print glass top. This is more than an aesthetic choice; it quietly solves a very practical problem by eliminating fingerprints in the areas that are touched most frequently.

03. HAN TABLE: WHERE LEATHER MEETS CALACATTA MARBLE
In this interpretation of Han, the tabletop becomes a meeting of textures: the warm softness of leather embraces a refined central insert in Calacatta marble.
Beneath it, a detail that only reveals itself on closer inspection: the matte cream lacquered central base disappears from view, lifting the structure and creating an elegant floating effect.
