PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING INFORMATION NOTICE

Martex SPA (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) provides this information notice pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, in order to familiarise you with the processing purposes and methods of any personal data you may communicate while browsing this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

It should be noted that this information notice refers exclusively to the Site and not to any third party websites that the User may access by means of links present on the Site.

CATEGORIES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

During their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures operating this Site acquire certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated to identified data subjects, however, due to the nature of the same, said information may allow for users to be identified as a result of processing and association with data held by third parties. This category includes, for example, the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users to connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) form addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (done, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the user’s operating system and computer environment. This type of data is used with the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information concerning use of the Site and to check that the Site operates correctly. The data is deleted immediately after processing. The Site – and any third-party services – may collect system logs for operation and maintenance purposes, that is, files that record interactions and that may also contain Personal Data, such as, the user’s IP address.

 

Data provided voluntarily by Users

The address and any other personal data included in the message of any e-mails explicitly and voluntarily sent to any of the addresses indicated on this Site will subsequently be acquired. Acquisition of the sender’s address is necessary to respond to requests. By completing specific Web forms available on the www.martex.it website, users explicitly and voluntarily choose to register and the data entered by the same in the fields on the form is required to complete their request and is consequently acquired. By sending an e-mail to web@martex.it or to the other e-mail addresses indicated on the website, you consent to the processing of your personal data sent to respond to requests made in accordance with the purposes and procedures contained in this Privacy Policy.

 

Access to the membership area

Martex SPA allows users who register on this Site access to a membership area reserved for dedicated services and information, by assigning a password, associated to a user name, which the user can change upon accessing the area for the first time. The new password chosen by the user is memorised by Martex SPA’s systems, and can subsequently be changed by the user whenever he or she deems appropriate. User accounts on www.martex.it can be cancelled or deactivated by users at any time. However, upon cancelling their account, users will no long be able to access the membership area unless they register once again. Users are responsible for the protection of their user names and passwords provided during registration. Martex SPA cannot be held liable for any loss or dissemination of such data due to a lack of caution or to irresponsible conduct by users during Internet browsing. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING, NATURE OF DATA PROVISION AND CONSEQUENCES IN CASE OF REFUSAL

The Company will process your data to facilitate browsing and to provide the services you may have requested by means of the forms specifically available on the Site. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You are entitled (see articles 15 – 22 of the GDPR) to request from our Company access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing of any personal data provided, as well as the right to data portability of the data provided by you if said data is processed using automated means based on consent or a contract. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to processing for purposes requiring the same, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You are further entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
