The sawdust from the processing cycles is recycled to produce heat and energy.
This is how you can compare the energy produced by a renewa ble resource such as sawdust and the energy produced with non- renewable resources (e.g. diesel oil, LPG):
100 tonnes of sawdust is equal to 38 toe*. To produce 38 toe, and therefore the same thermal power, 35 tonnes of diesel oil or 34.5 tonnes of LPG are required.
