Martex voluntarily adhered to initiatives directed to total quality and environmental protection.; the companies values and relative products are not solely composed of technical details and aesthetic aspects of what is produced but also of immaterial characteristics which contributed to increase the companies value: the sensibility towards a production responsible and at the same time attentive in respecting the territory wherein it is integrated is one of the intangible values expressed operating in accordance to the rules ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Martex’s production unity obtained the EMAS registration. This certification is obtained only after having exceeded an environmental audit test carried out not by an independent certification authority but from the Regional Agency of Environmental Protection otherwise known as “ARPA”.
Upon request Martex uses certified FSC, Forest Stewardship Council panels, in class E0 - zero formaldehyde emission - in other words wood contents deriving from a sustainable Forestry Management in regards to an ecological, social and economical point of view.
All of Martex’s packing consents a 100% recyclability of product wastage.
Hydroline is an advanced technological system using water solvents in the lacquering process, this way reducing in a remarkable way the environmental impact: this assures wide benefits to the entire cycle, from the production to the final customer. The Hydroline technology guarantees results of high performance on the quality of the lacquering both glossy and matt.
Energy saving and reducing consumption of resources. Through the adaption of the technology currently available on the market, an activity to monitor electrical consumption was set up by the use of specific analytical instrumentation. In view of the results obtained equipment of a high efficiency was installed which permits savings ranging between 15 and 30% of the consumption previously monitored.
Separate collection. Martex has classified in its production cycle 19 typologies of wastes which are scrupulously handled according to the abiding laws. A part of these wastes such as paper, plastic, wood cuttings, aluminium, and metal are 100% recuperated by specialized firms fully authorized.
Energetic recovery. Martex Spa is authorized, by the institutions in charge, to use the sawdust produced internally as fuel to generate thermical energy useful both for the production departments and office areas. This consents the replacement of fossil fuel which is gas oil.
LEED. Martex is a member of GBC, Green Building Council Italia, and has started procedures for the LEED certification of its products.
