02/03 | Martex Joining the IDOT contest

Martex takes part in the Italian Design dot (Idot), an international event that will select a few representative products of Italian design and beyond. Martex Office shows the new executive Ola designed by the architect Mario Mazzer, the executive desk Zed designed by Marco Fumagalli and the seating system Fifty Fifty created by the study of architecture Azzolini-Tinuper. These are three products recently introduced on the market. Let’s start from the said product: Fifty Fifty is the most informal of the three products and represents a category of seats that find their natural place in a young and trendy environment. Created to foster communication, thanks to the particular posture, FF has synthetic coating, easy to clean. The collection offers a wide range of colours that make FF even more fascinating.

Zed is an executive desk that gives off strength and character through the original and exclusive leg. It’s a sign of ancestral memory and easily understandable, decided but at the same time soft. Steel and wood, colour and material are present in this desk, which is dedicated to the young managers who wish to communicate values such as modernity and style, without renouncing to emphasize their status.

The thought that moves Ola origins lies in the desire to rediscover shapes of great appeal for the mind of man. Ola base both of the executive desk and the meeting table, reminds the blossom of a flower as a delicate calla, it reproduces the sinuous curves and striking movement. This feeling of lightness contributes the use of Solid Surface, a polymer used for the construction of the base which is strong, durable and able to support big areas such as Ola meeting table.
